Miastrada 

A new kind of car with a new way to generate electric power. 

Miastrada offers 200 MPG at 80 MPH.  It is a tall narrow articulated vehicle having a high main body shaped like an airship over a six-wheel road-following system.  The airship form achieves the lowest possible aerodynamic drag force.  The patented articulating system steers, stabilizes, and hugs the road, while holding the airship body in an elevated position to enable free-flow aerodynamics.  Hinging axes of the articulated vehicle allow coordinated wheel actions, while maximizing roll control torque and road conforming flexibility.  Electric motors eliminate most drive train machinery.  Motorists sit high in the elevated body in a spacious tandem seating arrangement.  Access is by way of a ramp lowered from the body floor, like a trap door.  Seats swing aside to clear the walkway and then lock back into place. Without need for side doors, uninterrupted side beams form a structure that maximizes side impact protection.  Overlooking traffic from a high vantage point, the driver is well positioned to control the lively Miastrada.
